This section defines the official hierarchical structure of the MotionMC Network Staff, as well as the responsibilities, permissions, and operational limits associated with each rank. Ranks exist to organize work, define responsibilities, and prevent abuse, not to grant personal privileges. Every Staff member must act strictly within the scope of their rank.

Administrative Team

Role: Overall server management. Responsibilities:
  • Final and partial decision-making.
  • Global management of Staff and server.
  • Approval of structural changes, regulations, and severe sanctions.
  • Resolution of high-level internal conflicts.

Manager

Role: Operational Staff management. Responsibilities:
  • Direct management of the Staff Team.
  • Performance evaluation.
  • Proposal of promotions, internal sanctions, and reorganizations.
  • Coordination with the Administrative Team.
Limits:
  • Cannot override decisions made by the Administrative Team.

Community Manager

Role: Community and communication management. Responsibilities:
  • Management of Discord and internal platforms.
  • Official communication with the community.
  • Supervision of the overall environment.
  • Coordination with Moderation and Managers.
Limits:
  • Cannot issue sanctions outside what is established by Moderation/Admins.

Operator

Role: Authorized technical and operational management. Responsibilities:
  • Technical support for infrastructure.
  • Management of technical tools.
  • Assistance with panel or server incidents.
  • Installation of key systems.
Limits:
  • Cannot make disciplinary decisions without authorization.

Development Team

Role: Development and maintenance of game modes. Responsibilities:
  • Development of systems, plugins, and tools.
  • Technical maintenance of the server.
  • Internal technical support for Staff.
Limits:
  • Does not intervene in moderation or sanctions unless explicitly authorized.

Sr. Admin / Admin / Jr. Admin

Role: Server administration. Responsibilities:
  • Advanced server management.
  • Handling appeals.
  • Supervision of Moderation.
  • Enforcement of severe sanctions according to regulations.
Limits:
  • Operate under coordination of higher ranks.

Sr. Mod / Mod / Jr. Mod

Role: Active moderation. Responsibilities:
  • Enforcement of sanctions according to the guide.
  • Management of moderation tickets.
  • Resolution of user conflicts.
  • Supervision of Helpers.
Limits:
  • Cannot make administrative decisions.
  • Severe cases must be escalated.

DcMod

Role: Discord-specific moderation. Responsibilities:
  • Moderation of Discord channels.
  • Enforcement of sanctions on Discord.
  • Ensuring compliance with rules.
Limits:
  • Does not intervene in Minecraft-related sanctions.

Helper

Role: Basic support and assistance. Responsibilities:
  • Initial user support.
  • Answering questions.
  • Escalating cases to Moderation.
Limits:
  • Cannot issue permanent sanctions.
  • Does not make final decisions.

Support

Role: User assistance and support. Responsibilities:
  • Handling support tickets.
  • Player guidance.
  • Clear and professional communication.
Limits:
  • Does not issue sanctions or intervene in moderation.

Special Ranks

Staff of the Month / Staff of the Week
  • Internal recognition.
  • Do not grant additional permissions.
  • Do not imply authority over other members.

Misuse of Permissions

The following are considered misuse, among others:
  • Acting outside of one’s rank.
  • Abusing permissions.
  • Using the role for personal benefit.
  • Making decisions without proper authority.
Such behavior may result in internal sanctions, including immediate removal of the rank.
